Leas Cliff Hall Charity Partnership 2023-2024
After the success of last year’s partnership with South Kent Mind, Leas Cliff Hall has named Home-Start Shepway as their official charity partner for 2023/24.
First established in 1995, Home-Start Shepway has been helping families through their toughest times. Their ethos is to work with families to build on their strengths and give them the support they really need. Home-Start Shepway’s services include home-visiting support, group support, parenting programmes, trips and outings, online support and sessions, and one-to-one phone support.
Since 1995, Home-Start Shepway has helped over 6,159 families, supported over 12,377 children, and trained over 480 volunteers. The charity also works on specific projects, including Building Bright Futures, a five-year project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund – this project provides support to families to help make positive changes through home visits, family support groups, peer mentoring, and focus groups. Another vital project is the Enhanced Domestic Abuse Project which offers one-to-one support, courses, reading material, and The Domestic Abuse One-Stop Shop which is open every Thursday 12:30pm – 2:30pm in Folkestone.
Leas Cliff Hall is extremely proud and excited to be working with and supporting such a valuable and vital charity that aids families across Folkestone, Hythe, and Romney March.

Charity Partner 2022 – 2023: South Kent Mind
Successful charity partnership between Leas Cliff Hall and South Kent Mind raises vital funds for
local mental health services
Every year Leas Cliff Hall selects a charity partner, and in 2022 the venue’s charity committee chose South Kent Mind for the financial year ahead.
Over the past 12 months, Leas Cliff Hall has raised money for this incredible charity by having a Halloween jewellery and trinket sale, bucket collections throughout our 2022 pantomime season, further bucket collections across a range of shows, and the use of The Channel Suite free of charge.
Emmie Rhodes, Theatre Manager for Leas Cliff Hall
